Science toys are awesome. What's more awesome is science toys that can do double duty as a piece of home art, or a mood setter for a party. We give you Astro Star, an indoor starlight projector that projects a map of the heavens onto your ceiling and walls. We like the atmosphere that it creates in a dim lit room, but we also like the fact that you can study and learn the constellations, which is especially great considering how far you'd have to travel away from the city to get a view like this due to the light pollution. The downside is that so far, this little item is only available out of the UK, but if you don't mind a little shipping costs, you can buy it online for a pretty reasonable price.
