DIY Project for the Insane or Extremely Bored

Cozy up with your friends and ignite your imagination for some storytelling around a fire. The Haugen/Zohar Outdoor Fireplace offers a warm place for people to play and tell stories outside. Inspired by Norwegian huts and old log construction, the structure uses layered pieces of wood left over from a nearby construction site, making them environmentally friendly with a naturally warm feeling.  If you don't have the time to scour and rob construction sights, then we suggest buying a pallet of 2x4's and renting a table saw.  More pics after the jump.
