Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life - Trailer

Serge Gainsbourg.  If you aren't already a fan of his work, chances are you've heard a Gainsbourg song and didn't know it. He is an icon in every sense of the word, and his tormented life is of legend, being just as famous for all the beauties he bedded as he was for his art.  This movie outlines his life starting at the beginning, being a russian jew and residing in Nazi occupied Paris and through the sixties, were he really hit his stride and found a career first as a jazz player and then a pop music sensation.  The movie is directed by famed comic book artist Joann Sfar, and it has a very novel and inventive approach to the biopic.  The movie has been a critical darling, yielding an 85% approval rating on Rotten Tomato.  We hear the soundtracks not bad either.
