Joel Richardson Mural

What do you do if your mural gets erased by the very city who commissioned it? Graffiti artist Joel Richardson's highly topical and politically powered work managed to ruffle local resident's feathers enough that the city of Toronto wiped away the art that they paid to have there in the first place. Recognizing the error of their ways, they re-engaged Richardson who graciously accepted and so a new mural has just been completed. A direct comment on free wheeling capitalism as he sees it, the art is populated with business figure clones, heavy religious overtones and is it just us or is that George W's face in there? More photos of his work after the jump.
