The Found and The Freed - Pop Up Shop

We're a little late to the party on this one, as they've been up and running in the Vancouver neighbourhood of Gastown since November 18th, and they are supposed to be shutting their doors on December 15th. Regardless of the tardiness of our intel gathering, there is still eight full days left, and we highly recommend you head on over and take a look for yourself. The proprietors have obviously spent a great deal of time sourcing and curating their inventory, and we found ourselves smitten with a number of things; from vintage catcher masks, school maps, to an old gym locker. Suffice to say the nearly everything in the shop will lend a certain something to your home that you just can't find in contemporary home pieces. They describe their wares as antiques, artifacts, found objects and vintage...and after a walkthrough we found plenty of each. There was some talk of the shop re-opening somewhere else in the near future, and we think that that's a great idea. But in the interim, you have 8 days left to have a look and get that hard to shop for person the perfect Christmas gift. Plenty more pics after the jump.
