Escea Wifi Fireplace

Simply put, this is cool. New Zealand based Escea have taken fireplaces out of the stone age (really, how far has fire come in a millennia) and brought them firmly into the twenty-first century. Let's put the super-amazing good looks aside, and focus on the features. Basically, after the install of the fireplace itself, you download an app and control everything remotely. The remote control allows you to control the temperature so the room temp stays balanced, set a timer in case you're prone to falling asleep next to fire, control the fan, and of course, turn it on or off. Cool eh? And did we mention that it looks absolutely badass? You can learn more here.
