XI Bookshelf by Goncalo Campos

Another week and another book shelf...but this is not your average bookshelf. For one, this side steps the usual fibreboard rectangle for a solid wood roman numeral. Second, it uses no hardware or fasteners to keep it together, rather opting for an ingenious series of precisely placed cut outs that allow the shelf to lock together, more in kind with a puzzle than a piece of furniture. Third, and probably the most clever aspect of the shelf, is that the instructions are actually milled into the individual pieces making putting it together easy (pics after the jump). That, and the instructions will last the life of the shelf. More info available here.
