Concrete is by far one of the most versatile and beautiful building materials. It is truly amazing what can be made out of concrete, and because of its more modern aesthetic, it is now a very sought after look in the home. However, due to building booms in emerging economies like China and India, concrete has skyrocketed in price, so the modern concrete constructed home you've always wanted may have to wait. That said, Dutch designer Piet Boon has created a series of wallpapers (in cooperation with NLXL) that give you the look for a fraction of the cost, allowing one to put a concrete feature wall in the home.
