Oru Origami Kayak

We once owned a beautiful cedar strip kayak. Ooohhh how we loved it. However, it was enormous and cumbersome, sat precariously atop our car, and was a real pain to store. You can pretty much forget apartment living with one, that is unless you're willing to shell our for an additional parking space to keep it in. However, the folks over at Oru have come up with an elegant solution to the afore mentioned difficulties, looking to traditions from the far east for their inspiration. The name (and picture above) supply all the explanation necessary. If you'd like to know more, please go here.
