Annie Leibovitz Pilgrimage

We are very familiar with the famous photographer Annie Leibovitz who's iconic portraits of celebrities have graced many magazines and coffee-table books but this latest creation of hers titled Pilgrimage, is a personal endeavour to document places that are important to her & inspire her creativity. After the death of her partner who she planned on visiting all of these destinations with, she ventured out with her own list of people & places to photograph which range from Virginia Woolf's writing table, Annie Oakley's heart target to Emily Dickinson's last surviving dress. "From the beginning, when I was watching my children stand mesmerized over Niagara Falls, it was an exercise in renewal. It taught me to see again." --Annie Leibovitz  More pics after the break.
