Neil Young - Waging Heavy Peace

Neil Young is arguably the coolest Canadian in history, excluding maybe David Suzuki, Pierre Trudeau, and Lester B. Pearson....but we did say arguably. He is one of the founders of Buffalo Springfield, played with Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, and even cut an album with Pearl Jam. He's the man behind the song Heart of Gold for cryin' out loud! As a member of society, he's lives his political and spiritual beliefs, going so far as only touring cities with the infrastructure to support his bio-diesel powered tour bus and trucks. He even converted his beloved 1959 Lincoln Continental to all electric, and re-christened it the Lincvolt. While numerous biographies have been written about his life and times, they have all been a bit removed. Waging Heavy Peace is from the mind of Mr. Young himself, and we think that it's worth your attention. You will learn a ton about the legend, and chances are, if you care about the world even a little bit, you'll learn that you probably have something in common with him. At fine book retailers everywhere.
