We are not real fans of the commercially popular fragrances pushed on us by the fashion houses of the world. Paying upwards of $100 for a 5oz bottle of what is mostly isopropyl alcohol and artificially synthesized fragrance is a fools purchase, and we're sure that somewhere on the planet, right as you are reading this, one of these fashion oligarchs is sitting in an impossibly expensive chair, caressing a hairless cat and laughing his/her ass off. Do get us wrong, we get it. You want to own a piece of Dior, but can't afford a single thing in the ready-to-wear line so you settle for the only thing that a middle class earner can afford. We digress. These synthetic scents we speak of are actually inspired by the boss of the scent world...mother nature. It's amazing what new olfactory sensations can be created when combining some of Mommas best work. Something like the above is a prime example, being made from Witch Hazel; and the essential oils of Rosemary, Lavender, Cedar and Lime. Etsy seller Wild Rose carries an entire product line for both men and women made from the hippie drippings of nature, and they smell good....really, really good.
