Parliament in Gastown

We can't help posting about Gastown and all it's great independent stores.  One of the best and our go-to for all affordable furniture and accessories is Parliament.  Started by a trio of friends who were experienced in the Vancouver retail scene, Parliament has fast become one of Vancouver's modern and fresh destination stores.  With an open plan and white backdrop, the store carries an abundance of local furniture and fashion with the right mix of trend and classic items.  The owl motif is a concept used in the creation of the store as well as a constant in the accessories and graphics. Among the antique looking floor lamps, glam mirrors and tailored sofas we found some locally made pillows that carried just a subtle hint of Canadiana that we can't wait to decorate our home with. More pics after the jump
