Death From Above 1979 - Black History Month

In 2006, DFA 1979 broke up. In 2011, they reconciled (???) and decided to give it another go. We thought this would never happen, as the relationship between the only two members was so strained that they wouldn't even do sound check together. But, as we've learned countless times in our own lives, time heals all, and the two parties decided 2011 was the year to again, play a few shows. We were so, so happy, but thought that it might be a fleeting thing. However, it appears that that momentum of 2011 is carrying them forward into 2012...as they are playing Toronto's Edgefest, and we're hoping that this happy time reunification has them tinkering with new material and perhaps a new record? Anyways, we give you one of our favourite jams from them, Black History Month, from their first, and album title of the year 2004 contender, "You're a Woman, I'm a Machine." Enjoy.
